Scott Stevens joined Trust Company of America in 2016 and currently serves as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. In his role, Scott oversees the company’s finance and accounting, financial risk management, internal audit, treasury and portfolio transactions.
He is an accomplished and respected senior level finance executive with a high profile record of providing Boards and C-suite executives strategic counsel, driving capital structure and allocation strategies, building strong relationships with the investment community and rating agencies, regulators and bankers, and leading finance and accounting and global treasury for Fortune 500 companies. He has wide-ranging capital markets experience including expertise with strategic M&A funding/structuring/diligence/integration and has had accountability for all financial risks including liquidity, foreign exchange, interest rate, sovereign and credit risks.
Prior experience includes serving as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer at J.G. Wentworth and Senior Vice President, Treasurer & Chief Risk Officer at Western Union. He was also Vice President and Assistant Treasurer at ArvinMeritor and spent 19 years with Ford Motor Company, working out of both U.S. headquarters and as an expatriate at Ford of Europe / FCE Bank PLC in London, England. He gained broad & deep understanding of corporate finance and treasury at this global Automotive/Credit Company by holding a number of finance leadership positions with frequent job rotations, and progressively greater responsibility.
He received his M.B.A. in Management with a specialization in Finance from The Ohio State University and his B.S. in Business Administration/Finance, Cum Laude from the University of Akron.
