Sue Summers joined Trust Company of America (TCA) in 2013 with over 20 years of experience in financial services. Her in-depth industry knowledge includes an extensive background in RIA operations, management, and strategy. As regional sales vice president, Sue is responsible for sales in the Heartland territory.
Before joining TCA, Sue served as senior business relationship manager at Symetra Financial, where she was responsible for managing vendor relationships and ensuring the compliance of daily activities with securities and insurance regulations. Prior to Symetra, she served as chief operating officer at Purcell Advisory Services, LLC, where she oversaw daily business activities of RIAs and supported key internal and external relationships. Sue has also held positions at Portfolio Strategies, Inc. and GNA Corporation — a GE Capital Company.
Sue received a bachelor of arts degree in political science and economics from the University of Washington. She holds the Series 6, 63, and 65 licenses, as well as the CIMA designation, and has held the Series 7 and 24.
